Ecuador is a wonderful destination that can be enjoyed year-round. It is commonly divided into two main seasons: the Dry Season and the Wet Season.

Despite its small size, Ecuador boasts diverse climates across its four main regions:

The Amazon region has a tropical rainforest climate characterized by high humidity and abundant rainfall year-round. The climate is warm, and the concept of distinct seasons fluctuates between wetter and drier periods.

Dry Season (Summer): October to March - This period sees slightly lower rainfall but still experiences significant humidity.

Temperatures are generally in the 28°C to 32°C (82°F to 90°F) range during the day.

Wet Season (Winter): April to September - With frequent heavy rains and very high humidity, during the peak of the rainy season, temperatures may cool slightly due to cloud cover and more frequent rain.

Daytime temperatures between 25°C to 28°C (77°F to 82°F).

At night in both seasons, temperatures can drop to 18°C to 22°C (64°F to 72°F).
